Happy Holidays and Welcome!

We have a few life updates to share, and one of them is that on Saturday, September 28th, we eloped in Yosemite National Park! Instead of a traditional wedding, we had a very small gathering at the top of Sentinel Dome and were fortunate enough to have some of the most breathtaking photos taken of us by our good friend and amazing photographer Shannon Wight!

Our day started in the beautiful Yosemite Valley with a picnic lunch and photos in the meadows. After that, we went to Tunnel View to get a few pictures in front of Half Dome. Our last stop was to hike to the top of Sentinel Dome to read our vows and get once in a lifetime photos at sunset!

It was such a special day for us and we couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place on earth to celebrate than Yosemite National Park. This wouldn’t have been possible without our absolutely incredible photographer Shannon Wight, so if you live in the Bay Area and are in need of a professional photographer, Shannon is your woman! You can check out more of her work at https://www.shannonwight.com/ and you can see the rest of our photos at our Wedding Photo Gallery!

We had these photos taken just in time, as only a few days later we were packing everything we owned into the back of a truck

Which leads us to our next update…

We moved to New York City!

For those of you that don’t know, I have been working as a paralegal for the immigration law firm Bean, Lloyd, Mukherji, & Taylor, LLP since 2021. Last year, it was announced that we would be opening a satellite office in Downtown Brooklyn.

After some initial discussions, there was an opportunity for me to move to NY and open the office and Daniel and I decided to go! We came out and stayed for a week in September and (thankfully) were able to find a place to live in South Brooklyn.

We have only been here for 2 months but it’s been wonderful so far and an exciting part of our journey together! We hope that you can come visit us soon!
